The virgin shampoo bottle on the shelf, I bought, after my brain was influenced with its fancy advertisement, lures my senses to open its lead, pour the thick liquid on my palm and lather my hair with its foam. Dream in its serene fragrance while I wash my hair with it, and all this while my old shampoo bottle is still serving me well with a few ml left in the base, till its last breath- as promised.
This is the ITCH!
The itch to use the brand new products (can be anything), you bought/won/brought/received, even when you have its predecessor furnishing its services loyally. My villainous heart is fully aware that all new products come with the same fate and would be treated alike, once it reaches its end time, for my greedy mind would lust for the next new entrant.

I have gathered in all these years of my life, that, I am
not the only one to suffer from this and have several such craving minds who
get sleepless nights until they get their hands on the newly acquired goods; face-wash,
shampoo, body wash, pickle, sauce, etc etc.
The Itch grabs my likes with its claws every time we return
home carrying something new especially a never tried brand; no exceptions.

DeleteI very recently bought an oriflame body wash. And I came back from the shopping at around 6 in the evening. At 6.15 I was inside shower taking a bath again only to try it. My husband who of course knew the real reason laughed and laughed. I kept telling him "its so hot! I needed a bath" :D :D fab read :) and super true!

DeleteI completely belong to your clan. The new shinny advertisements are the worst they mostly start the itch.

haahaha..It happens with me almost all the time with almost all the stuffs. I buy a cosmetic and I have this "Itch" to apply it immediately and check myself in mirror even without any occasion. I think this Itchyness has something to do with the newness of the product...or is it simply a universally occurring Girly "Itch" ?
